Local to NYC as Hybrid work environment: 3 days in office 2 days WFH / 6+ month consultant to hire position. USC or GC Preferred
Responsibilities- Business Requirements Gathering
- Business Process Partnership:
Partner with business SMEs to delve deeply, understand, and document business processes and procedures. Drive teams towards continuous process improvement and thorough documentation of procedures and policies. - Data Analytics & Business Intelligence:
Extract, interpret, and analyze data to generate actionable business insights. Design and implement BI reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and relevancy. - KPI Development:
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, define, and track key performance indicators, providing insights based on trends. - Management Reporting:
Construct and maintain management reports and dashboards to visualize KPIs and other critical metrics.
- Analytical Leadership & Insights:
Ability to guide and mentor teams with data insights and business intelligence. Sharp analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail. - Data-Driven Strategy:
Experience in harnessing, refining, and leveraging data analytics and business intelligence to shape and influence operational strategies. - Industry Insight:
Health Insurance expertise is preferable. Comprehensive understanding of industry trends, data analytics, business intelligence, and process transformation. - Communication:
Ability to convey complex business concepts to diverse audiences, foster collaborations, and navigate various levels of leadership. - Organizational
Skills:
Exceptional at planning, time management, and prioritizing.
- Preferred Bachelor's or master's in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
- 8+ years as a Business Analyst/Project Manager, focused on business requirements and intelligence, project management data analytics, business intelligence, and process transformation.
- Expertise in Healthcare and/or pension services is preferred.
- Preformed Data Analysis, Data Cleansing and Data Manipulation a plus.
- Worked with ETL Team for Data Mart Modeling to design complex OBI repositories and BI Solutions: a plus.
- Data warehouse tool experience: MS SQL Server, SQL, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Oracle SQL Server, as examples.
- Established background in bridging business requirements with technical solutions.
- Proven track record in business process improvements and project delivery.
- Skilled in data visualization tools (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Power BI) and data analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Comprehensive knowledge of business modeling, KPI tracking, and process documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in conveying complex details.
- Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are an asset.
- Certifications in Project Management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) are an asset.
- Experience in benefits administration is favorable.
