We’re looking for an exceptional Account Executive - Southeast to join our growing global team iga is the industry's complete solution for cloud threat detection, investigation, and response — built by investigators, for investigators. We empower SOC teams with cloud visibility, automation, and context to enhance cloud threat detection, hunting, and response. Mitiga is an Innovation Sandbox Finalist at RSA 2024 and a SYN Ventures portfolio company (Series B, January 2025).

We are seeking a proven and highly motivated cybersecurity sales Account Executive to join our team in the US. In this role, you will drive Mitiga's growth by managing and expanding our presence across the US market. You will lead the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise accounts with a focus on SaaS and cloud security solutions, working closely with Mitiga’s founders and leadership to shape growth and strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Listen to customers and understand their key business and security challenges to advise how Mitiga adds value to security operations
  • Engage with CIOs, CISOs, and security operations teams to build credibility and mindshare around cloud and SaaS security
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding business needs and delivering tailored Mitiga solutions
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow the pipeline and drive revenue across the US, while meeting or exceeding quarterly quotas
  • Engage with Mitiga’s partner ecosystem to establish go-to-market partnerships driving pipeline and bookings growth
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing
  • Navigate complex sales cycles with a consultative, solution-based approach
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Executives to deliver results
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of cybersecurity sales experience with a strong track record of exceeding quota selling to CISOs, security executives, and heads of security operations
  • Experience selling in early-stage startups (Seed to Series A) in high-growth environments
  • Proven success managing mid-market and enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Hunter mentality with strong prospecting skills and experience generating leads in greenfield territories
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts and map them to business outcomes in a consultative style
  • Experience selling SaaS and cloud security solutions and understanding of the cybersecurity landscape
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior executives
  • Highly organized and data-driven with strong pipeline management

The candidate must reside in one of the following areas:
Atlanta (preferred) - Southeast.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with detection, investigation, and response (TDIR) solutions and familiarity with security operations tools and services
  • Established relationships within the US cybersecurity space with security executives and decision-makers
Compensation & Benefits

Estimated base salary range: $150k-$175k, plus commission, equity grants, and generous benefits. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401k with match, unlimited PTO, cell phone reimbursement, and equipment allowances.
