  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk mitigation planning for both IT and OT assets
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to secure instrumentation & controls (I&C), reactor monitoring systems, and industrial automation equipment
  • Establish and enforce access controls, identity management, and network segmentation for sensitive environments
  • Implement secure software development and deployment practices, supporting Dev Sec Ops  workflows
  • Support incident response, forensic investigation, and recovery planning to ensure system resilience
  • Document cybersecurity policies, network diagrams, and compliance reports for internal and regulatory review
  • Stay current on emerging cyber threats, technologies, and regulations relevant to critical infrastructure and nuclear systems
  • Partner with the Compliance and Regulatory teams to support audits and certification processes
Qualifications & Skills ets
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or network/system security
, preferably in energy, defense, or critical infrastructure sectors
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA security, and operational technology (OT) network architecture
  • Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, Wireshark, Nessus, Metasploit, Crowd Strike, or equivalent platforms
  • Deep knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and NRC cybersecurity requirements
  • Hands-on experience with network design, firewall configuration, VPNs, and endpoint security
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure security (AWS, Azure) and virtualization environments
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, GICSP, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
