Responsibilities- Lead technical discovery and qualification with prospects to understand business objectives, technical requirements, data flows, and workflows.
- Partner with Account Executives to advance opportunities through the evaluation process.
- Design and deliver high-impact product demonstrations, technical evaluations, and proofs of concept tailored to customer use cases.
- Analyze customer data during proofs of concept to surface insights and demonstrate value.
- Provide architectural guidance and technical recommendations aligned to customer environments and best practices.
- Address complex technical questions and configuration challenges throughout the sales cycle.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and persuasively through presentations and live discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Educate prospects on CHEQ’s technology and how it solves real business problems.
- Act as a trusted advisor, building credibility and confidence with prospective customers.
- Support internal enablement by sharing product knowledge, field learnings, and competitive insights with Sales and cross-functional teams.
- Deliver structured product feedback and new requirements based on customer interactions and field experience.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs at deal close, renewals, and expansions.
- 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong ability to lead technically complex conversations and establish credibility with technical and business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects independently, with strong prioritization and a sense of urgency.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Solid analytical background, including experience with marketing analytics, ROI analysis, and basic statistical concepts.
- Familiarity with the digital marketing ecosystem, including platforms such as Google, Microsoft, Linked In, and related advertising and analytics tools.
- Experience working with data integrations, including APIs, and an understanding of how systems exchange and consume data.
- Ability to translate technical and data-driven insights into practical recommendations aligned to customer business goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience with tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Experience Cloud is a plus.
The total annual compensation for this role, based on on-target earnings (OTE), is $120,000 - $130,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location.
