Overview:
We partner with regulated organizations seeking Data Privacy Leads to support compliance-driven data privacy, protection, and incident response initiatives. This role focuses on overseeing privacy programs, advising on regulatory requirements, and coordinating responses to privacy risks and incidents across regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and support data privacy compliance initiatives aligned with applicable regulations and frameworks
- Advise on data protection requirements, privacy risk assessments, and governance practices
- Support incident response activities related to data privacy events and regulatory notifications
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, IT, and Security teams on privacy-related matters
- Assist with development, review, and maintenance of privacy policies, procedures, and controls
- Support audits, regulatory exams, and internal reviews related to data privacy compliance
- Track and manage privacy risks, issues, and remediation efforts
- Monitor regulatory developments and emerging trends in data privacy and protection
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications in privacy, compliance, or risk preferred
- 6–10+ years of experience in data privacy, data protection, or compliance-focused roles
- Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations and governance principles
- Experience supporting regulated organizations or complex compliance environments preferred
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical privacy guidance
- Strong leadership, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
- $140,000–$200,000 base salary, depending on experience and market
