**** Why this role is important to us
**** A Solutions Engineer, Trade Operations, plays a critical role in shaping Sim Corp’s go-to-market, sales, and marketing initiatives to support revenue growth and expand Sim Corp’s presence across the Americas. With a focus on Middle and Back Office workflows, this role helps articulate the value of Sim Corp One to both prospective and existing clients.

Working closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success and Implementation teams, the Solutions Engineer leads and coordinates client presentations and software demonstrations, ensuring Sim Corp One’s capabilities are effectively showcased and aligned to client needs.
**** What you will be responsible for
***** Act as a subject matter expert on Middle and Back Office workflows across all asset classes, including reconciliation, confirmation, settlement, cash management, valuation, collateral management, reporting, and accounting.
* Prepare and facilitate detailed Sim Corp One software demonstrations, presentations, and workshops for clients and prospects.
* Hold regular meetings with prospects and clients to understand their current use of technology and systems, and to identify opportunities to leverage additional available functionality not currently licensed.
* Prepare responses to prospective client RFIs (Requests for Information) and RFPs (Requests for Proposal).
* Ensure effective and detailed knowledge transfer from the sales process to the implementation team following contract execution.
* Provide input to the product team on market trends and evolving client requirements.
* Contribute to build out of local and global demonstration systems to reflect how the system should be used by clients in the various verticals:
Pension Funds, Asset Managers, Insurance Companies, Central Banks.
**** What we value
***** 10+ years experience within the Financial Services Industry with exposure to the middle and back-office functions.
* University degree in business or technology.
* Strong knowledge of Buy Side trade lifecycle flows, with a particular focus on post-execution processes.
* Practical experience with Sim Corp One, particularly across the post-trade lifecycle, is highly desirable.
* Experience across a broad range of Public & Private asset classes (e.g., fixed income, equities, derivatives).
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong problem-solving capabilities with a solution-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering outcomes.
* Methodical, self-motivated, and able to perform effectively during high-demand projects.
* Proven relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills, both in client-facing engagements and cross-functional collaboration.
* A critical thinker with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
* Willingness to travel as required.
* Flexibility to attend Sim Corp office 2x/week as per our hybrid policy.
