Location:
New York, NY (Midtown).
Join ION’s US IT Service Desk as a Level 2 Desktop Support Engineer. This role combines in‑office walk‑ins with remote support via Teams, email, and phone, handling daily ticketing as well as larger parallel projects.
Key Responsibilities- Administer ION’s ITSM system (Ivanti Neurons), logging support calls from walks, Teams, email, and phone.
- Perform a range of support tasks from inventory and desk moves to laptop build‑outs, Azure user management, Follow Me printing, conference‑room tech troubleshooting, and basic network and software deployments.
- Manage in‑office users, handling Wi‑Fi issues and other walk‑in requests.
- Communicate professionally and calmly with executives and senior staff.
Skills & Qualifications
- At least 4 years of desktop support experience, preferably in financial services or software‑engineering environments.
- Minimum 1–2 years of Level 2 support experience.
- Basic network troubleshooting skills.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure/M365 and VMware.
- Experience with JAMF is a plus.
- Preferred certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL (not mandatory).
- BA or BS degree preferred.
Estimated salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 (salary negotiable based on experience and skills).
