Director of Cyber Security

Location: New Jersey Employment Type anders: Full-Time

Are you ready to take the lead in shaping how a global organization manages cyber and information risk? We’re seeking a Director of Cyber & Information Risk to drive independent risk reviews and provide regulator-ready insights that influence enterprise-wide governance.

You’ll be at the center of critical decision-making — partnering with Information Security, Data Management, Audit, and senior leadership, while engaging directly with regulators. Your work will challenge remediation programs, benchmark controls against evolving threats, and ensure risk culture and accountability are embedded across the enterprise.

• Lead horizontal and thematic independent reviews across cyber and data risks
• Challenge large-scale remediation programs and validate closure evidence
• Benchmark control environments against industry standards and emerging threats
• Present findings to Technology Leadership, Audit Committees, and regulators
• Influence risk culture, accountability, and governance across the enterprise
• Mentor junior risk professionals and act as a trusted senior advisor

• 7+ years of experience in information security and data management risk
• Deep exposure to enterprise & operational risk frameworks (Basel-aligned)
• Experience in highly regulated, global environments
• Strong knowledge of cyber, data governance, cloud, IAM, third-party risk, incident response, and emerging technologies
• A technical degree (Master’s preferred) and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC

💼 Compensation: $180K–$210K base + variable compensation, 401(k) match, and full benefits
