Technical Co-Founder (Mental Healthcare)
ReClym is an early-stage (fundraising) startup on a mission to reimagine the operational backbone of mental health and wellness. Therapists spend enormous energy navigating insurer reimbursements, outdated workflows, and fragmented systems. Our goal is to become the OS for Wellness & Mental Health, starting by fixing one of the biggest pain points in the industry: insurance reimbursement.
We’re building tools that enable therapists to confidently accept insurance, streamline compliance, and ultimately increase access to affordable mental healthcare. We've recently agreed to work with 14+ providers for our upcoming beta and want you to be a part of this.
The Role:
We’re seeking a founding engineer to join our team as one of our earliest members. You’ll work directly with the founder and a well‑known healthcare advisor to shape the product, tech, and culture from day one. This is a true founding‑level role with high ownership, high autonomy, and high impact.
Compensation: Equity‑first, with salary introduced post‑fundraise.
What You’ll Do:
- Architect, build, and ship core platform features across the stack
- Translate real‑world workflows into intuitive product experiences
- Build scalable APIs, dashboards, and integrations
- Define engineering direction, best practices, and technical culture
- Rapidly prototype and iterate with users and partners Editable
- Influence product strategy based on real‑world feedback
Who You Are:
- Experience with healthcare tools, HIPAA, insurance billing systems, or compliance
- Interested in mental healthcare or wellness
- 1–4 years full‑stack development experience (or strong project/startup experience)
- Comfortable with React/Next.js, Node/Python, Postgres, OpenAI (GPT‑4.x/5.x), Whisper, LLM automation pipelines, Document parsing + OCR/NLP workflows
- Excited to rethink outdated mental health workflows
- Scrappy, mission‑driven, and excited by early‑stage ambiguity
Why Join Us:
- Founding‑level equity in a company redefining mental health infrastructure
- Shape core product, engineering, and culture
- Ready‑to‑go product distribution model
- Directly contribute to expanding access to mental healthcare
- Remote team between New York and London
- Build a category‑defining product from zero to one
