Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve advanced, multi-layered issues affecting Windows 11 workstations, Azure Virtual Desktop environments, Microsoft Office applications, mobile devices, and third-party software.
• Act as the primary technical expert for endpoint management platforms, including SCCM, Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop, overseeing design, configuration, and ongoing optimization.
• Build and maintain automated solutions for OS deployment, patching, application packaging, and updates across physical and virtual endpoints.
• Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to define, implement, and enforce endpoint security standards.
• Develop detailed technical documentation, runbooks, and internal training materials to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Identify performance gaps and reliability risks within the endpoint ecosystem and implement long-term improvements.
• Monitor emerging technologies and industry best practices to ensure modern, scalable endpoint solutions.
• Create and maintain custom Windows images, drivers, and application bundles for desktops, laptops, and virtual desktop platforms.
• Package, test, and deploy new or updated applications on a regular cadence.
• Provide escalation-level support for endpoint-related incidents, minimizing downtime and user disruption.
• Administer Group Policy and Group Policy Preferences in support of Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Coordinate with external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve hardware or software issues when escalation is required.
• Leverage SCCM and Intune for software distribution, patch compliance, asset inventory, and reporting.
• Ensure operating systems and applications remain secure, compliant, and current through structured update processes.
• Design and maintain automation scripts to streamline routine endpoint management tasks.
• Implement scripting-based solutions to eliminate manual workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Required Experience and Technical Skills

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience in Endpoint or Desktop Engineering roles.
• Deep technical knowledge of Windows 11 architecture, Azure Virtual Desktop, and advanced troubleshooting methodologies.
• Proven expertise with SCCM, Intune, and AVD, including custom deployments, configurations, and reporting.
• Experience supporting and managing iOS devices in an enterprise environment.
• Strong background troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications, including add‑ins and integrations.
• Advanced Power Shell scripting skills for automation, remediation, and diagnostics.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical problems and deliver effective, sustainable solutions.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Experience managing endpoint security tools such as Microsoft Defender.
• Strong working knowledge of Group Policy and Group Policy Preferences.
• Familiarity with endpoint diagnostic utilities such as Process Monitor and similar tools.
