Staff IT Auditor
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Internal Audit team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in NYC and is a hybrid role, requiring at least three days a week in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning engagements based on technology and business risks.
- Conduct interviews, process walk‑throughs, and document results.
- Execute technology audits and advisory projects by analyzing, testing and evaluating the entity’s control environment, using a blend of traditional sampling and automation.
- Identify control weaknesses and/or business productivity/efficiency opportunities.
- Assess risks associated with various business objectives and evaluate controls in place to mitigate those risks.
- Work with management to identify corrective actions for improvement, considering existing business and control risks and other cost‑benefit considerations.
- Draft audit report findings and process improvements for review at closing meetings.
- Communicate audit findings to management.
- Document conclusions and iray reference work papers for supervisory review.
- Participate in closing meetings at the end of fieldwork, noting comments and providing clear explanations for findings and ratings.
- Actively pursue certifications and continuing professional education in line with the department’s needs and your career development.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in information technology, related business, or accounting.
- 1–3 years of audit, risk management, or information technology experience.
- Sound understanding of IT risk management concepts, including
Prices Infrastructure controls, cyber security controls, application controls, and IT general controls. - Solid analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to understand the relationship between complex information technology and business issues.
- Clear articulation and solid communication/presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Base salary range for this role: $57,900 — $115,800 annually. The final amount will depend on experience, skills, certifications, and other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
