Overview
As the Senior Network Security Architect, you willbe responsible for planning, designing,implementingandoperatingenterprise infrastructure for clients. You will have the opportunity to work within an industry-leading account team, supporting a key focus area to craft sustainable IT roadmaps for the ePlus customer base.
YOUR IMPACTThe essential functions of this position include:
- Implement network and security solutions from providers such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper and Fortinet
- Create as-built documentation and diagrams.
- Be available as a pre-sales resource for sales team members, as necessary.
- Serve as an escalation point for other Engineers.
- Troubleshoot complex technology issues.
- Assesscustomerenvironment and make recommendations on solutions and improvements.
- Meet with key vendors to stay current on products and technologies.
- Maintain multiple advancedmanufacturerspecific advanced certifications. i.e.: CCNP Security, PCNSE, NSE, etc.
- Serve each and every customer to ePlus’ standards.
Experience & Education
- 10+ years designing and implementing secure network architectures
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Technical Expertise
- Solid knowledge in multiple areas, including:
- IP networking and security fundamentals
- Wireless architecture
- Next-Generation Firewall architecture and implementation
- RADIUS server configuration and troubleshooting
- Network Access Control (NAC) design and implementation
- Software-Defined Access architectures
- Data center and access layer segmentation
- Network automation/orchestration
- Disaster Recovery planning
- Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) tuning
- Endpoint security solutions
- Specialized Knowledge:
Subject matter expertise in at least three (3) of the following:- Network/Security Infrastructure:
Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, CheckPoint, Fortinet, F5 - Application Security: F5, Imperva, Splunk
- Identity & Access Control:
Cisco ISE, Aruba Clear Pass, Forescout, ZScaler, Cyxtera - Network Segmentation & Policy Control:
Cisco ACI, VMware NSX - Data Protection:
Symantec, Varonis - Endpoint Protection:
Cisco AMP, Palo Alto Traps, Cylance, Carbon Black - DNS/Email Security:
Cisco Umbrella/ESA/WSA, Proofpoint, Mimecast, Forti Mail

Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills
- Excellent customer service skills (phone and in-person)
- Professional demeanor with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Theinitialbase salary range for this position is expected to be between $150,000 and $190,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.
