Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 + Equity

As a Forward Deployed Engineer
, you will bridge cutting-edge AI technology with real-world healthcare deployments. You’ll be the engineering lead in customer-facing projects, working hand-in-hand with clinicians, hospital administrators, and data teams to ensure successful adoption of AI solutions. You will also contribute directly to the product itself, from backend infrastructure to front-end features.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead deployments of AI solutions for hospitals and health systems, both onsite and virtually.
• Collaborate closely with clinical teams to understand workflows, gather requirements, and fine-tune models for specific use cases.
• Deploy and integrate AI systems into production environments, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
• Build new product features and address bugs across the full stack (backend, frontend, infrastructure).
• Work in a fast-paced, in-person environment with a small, collaborative engineering team.

• 2–7 years of professional full-stack engineering experience in a fast-paced startup or mid-sized company.
• Strong experience in Python and Type Script .
• Experience with Postgres and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Track record of working directly with customers on technical deployments.
• Strong builder mentality — thrives in 0 → 1 environments.
• Interest or prior exposure to healthcare, healthtech, or other regulated industries.

• Hands-on experience deploying or fine-tuning models (Hugging Face, LLMs, embeddings, transformers, etc.).
• Exposure to AI/ML-driven products or infrastructure.
• Research experience in ML/AI.
• Background from a top university in Computer Science or related field.
• Previous Forward Deployed Engineer experience.
