Metropolis is seeking a Director of Accounting Transformation to architect the next generation of our financial systems, processes, and data flows as we undergo significant global scale. You will own modernization, automation, and end-to-end process redesign to build a world-class finance organization, serving as the primary thought leader for operational excellence. By partnering across Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Product, you will drive the ERP optimization and integrations necessary to support our evolving products and increasing operational complexity.

• Lead multi-year transformation initiatives across the global accounting function
• Drive ERP optimization or implementation, including integrations with billing, payments, treasury, and operational systems
• Build scalable end-to-end processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, close-to-report, record-to-report)
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using modern tools (RPA, workflow, AI-based solutions)
• Partner with Engineering and Data teams to improve data structure, financial analytics, and system architecture
• Create a governance framework that promotes accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls
• Serve as the primary thought leader for operational excellence, standardization, and continuous improvement

• 10+ years of accounting, consulting, or transformation experience in high-growth or complex environments
• Strong background in ERP strategy and finance systems deployment (Net Suite preferred)
• Experience redesigning processes at scale, ideally within a technology or platform-based business
• Analytical thinker with a strong process mindset and exceptional program-management skills
• Ability to influence and collaborate across Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Product

The anticipated base salary for this position is $ USD to $ USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant’s qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment.

Base salary is one component of Metropolis’ total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans and more.
