Through a shopper’s interactions with the former App Card’s platform records and learns shopper behavior and gives grocers the ability to make their data actionable to increase average basket size and systematically increase repeat purchases.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Devops Engineer to design, build, and maintain our hybrid infrastructure, which spans both cloud and on-premises environments
. This role is hands-on and involves managing IoT devices at scale, developing tools for system deployment and monitoring, and leading modernization projects from design through production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of reliable, secure, and scalable systems, while mentoring teammates and driving best practices in infrastructure engineering.

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for both cloud-based and on-premise environments, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability
• Develop and introduce tools to enhance the deployment, management, and monitoring of customer premise equipment, IoT devices and backend systems.
• Manage system architecture and modernization projects
  , driving them from design through implementation to production operations
• Enhance observability and monitoring of infrastructure and IoT devices, developing both custom tooling and utilizing off the shelf offerings
• Implement secure connectivity solutions to ensure resilient and safe device-to-cloud communication
• Mentor and guide team members
  , sharing best practices in infrastructure, monitoring, and system design
• Partner with Dev Ops and relevant teams to integrate infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployments and upgrades

• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, or Dev Ops roles
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong experience managing servers and/or IoT devices at scale
• Software development skills relating to building infrastructure (Python)
• Hands‑on expertise with a variety of AWS services
• Proven ability to manage and secure hybrid (Cloud + On‑Prem) infrastructure
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CDK etc.) for automation and system consistency
• Strong Linux systems and networking knowledge (docker, firewalls, load balancers and VPNs)
• Solid background in monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting large‑scale distributed systems
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to operate in fast‑paced, production‑critical environments
• Excellent communication skills in English; team‑oriented and proactive mindset

• Experience with AWS IoT offerings, such as Green Grass v2
• Knowledge of best practices of secure infrastructure design
• Experience with managing edge devices at scale
