Job Overview
IT Operations Engineer – Full‑time role focused on managing a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment and supporting enterprise workspace management systems such as IBM Tririga, Maximo and Eptura Archibus. The position requires installing, configuring, maintaining and supporting Azure hosting environments, designing and testing Azure architecture, managing datacenter hardware and software, and administering relational database platforms.
Responsibilities- Install, configure and maintain Azure Cloud environments hosting IBM Tririga, Maximo and Eptura Archibus.
- Design, configure, test and maintain Azure architecture and datacenter hardware and software.
- Administer database environments including MS SQL, Oracle 19c and IBM DB2—installation, configuration, storage, testing and backup.
- Implement standards‑based configuration solutions to meet internal and client‑specific functional requirements.
- Document work and support audits such as ISO 27001.
- Participate in on‑call duties as required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with TCP/IP networking, Microsoft Operating Systems, Linux and Windows Hyper‑V.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud environments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Open Shift.
- 1–2 years of experience with IBM Tririga, Maximo and/or Eptura Archibus.
- Experience administering SQL platforms such as MS SQL, Oracle 19c and IBM DB2.
- Knowledge of data center backup technologies, Azure DPM, database backup, import/export, ASM, platform installation and patching.
- Experience with Apache, Tomcat and Web Sphere is a plus.
- Understanding and experience running systems in Azure or other cloud‑based platforms is a plus.
