What You’ll Do
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise stakeholders across IT, Info Sec, HRIS, and more.
  • Build and configure demo environments that bring the Better Up experience to life.
  • Deliver high‑fidelity, narrative‑driven demos tailored to customer goals and buyer personas.
  • Serve as the technical point‑of‑contact throughout the pre‑sales cycle, including security, API, and integration conversations.
  • Design scalable solutions aligned to platform capabilities, delivery realities, and product roadmap.
  • Translate integration needs into clear, technically viable specifications.
  • Produce Solution Design Blueprints and drive alignment across Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
  • Support seamless handoffs into implementation by clarifying configuration logic and deployment readiness.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years in Solutions Engineering, Pre‑Sales, or Technical Consulting in enterprise SaaS.
  • Experience building functional prototypes or proof‑of‑concepts—with tools like Python—showcasing solution feasibility.
  • Experience integrating HRIS, LMS, SSO, or API‑based integrations in large‑scale enterprise environments.
  • Strong ability to build and deliver tailored product demos that align to real‑world business needs.
  • Deep understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance in global enterprise contexts.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to create clear, reusable documentation that supports implementation and adoption.
  • Comfort advising across feasibility, architecture, and platform configuration tradeoffs.
  • Experience gathering and structuring product feedback to inform roadmap conversations.

Base salary is determined by job‑related experience, education, residence location, and market indicators. The range below is representative of base salary only and does not include equity, sales bonus plans (when applicable), and benefits. The range may be modified in the future.

$148,000 – $203,500 for New York City and San Francisco; $129,000 – $177,100 for all other locations.
