Content Operations Coordinator (Contract)
Location:
Highly prefer someone in New York. Open to remote candidates within the US.
Duration: 1/19/2026 to 1/15/2027

- Monitor and troubleshoot content ingestion through the Adobe ingest pipeline (using Splunk and AWS S3).
- Review job reports, identify errors, and coordinate with contributor relations on fixes.
- Report system issues to engineering and assist in testing solutions.
- Manage AWS S3 storage for assisted uploads.
- Suggest and support automation opportunities to streamline workflows.
- Onboard new assisted ingest partners, including AWS S3 configuration and workflow training.
- Provide daily and ad-hoc ingestion activity reports to partners and internal collaborators.
- Develop clear documentation and training materials.
- Deliver technical support for tools and systems that impact content delivery.
- Gather and analyze data to measure ingest performance across content departments.
- Troubleshoot issues related to file transfers, transcoding, or automated scripting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to improve reliability and efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in media technology, library science, or a similar area at a level equivalent to a degree or comparable experience.
- Strong technical skills:
Excel, AWS (especially S3), JSON/XML, and experience with monitoring machine-generated data. - Familiarity with Python and Java.
- Clear communicator, capable of bridging technical and non-technical discussions with a wide variety of team members.
- Organized multitasker who thrives under high-volume, high-velocity, deadline-intensive conditions.
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to solve problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting technology and asset management systems in digital media.
- Knowledge of video/image transcoding.
- Familiarity with creative tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, or After Effects.
- $40.63 per hour.
