Senior Director of IT Operations

Our client is seeking a Director of IT Operations to lead and oversee all hospital IT operations, ensuring reliable and efficient technology services that support patient care and organizational goals. This role will be responsible for managing IT teams, budgets, vendors, and projects, while partnering closely with leadership to drive the hospital’s IT strategy. This is a hybrid position based in Queens County, NY.

Starting at $180,000/year.

• Lead all hospital IT operations, including service desk, end user computing, network, and data center management.
• Partner with senior leadership to create and implement IT roadmaps aligned with the hospital’s strategic goals.
• Develop, mentor, and manage IT teams, establishing accountability through tracking and managing key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Oversee IT budgets, vendor relationships, and project delivery to ensure cost-effective and timely solutions.
• Ensure IT systems are secure, compliant, and optimized for hospital operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field;
  Master’s preferred.
• Extensive experience leading IT operations in a healthcare or hospital environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, service management, network, and data center operations.
• Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams with measurable results.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and complex IT projects.
• Excellent strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
