Product Manager – AI & Labor Tech (In-Person, NYC)

Our client is a fast-growing startup transforming how industrial businesses manage their workforce. They use advanced AI to match vetted workers with real-time staffing needs—streamlining operations in warehouses and manufacturing facilities across the U.S.

They are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial Product Manager with deep AI and marketplace experience to help reimagine the outdated labor market. You’ll work closely with engineering, field teams, and leadership to design and launch practical, high-impact solutions.

• Lead product strategy across AI, marketplace, and operations.
• Solve complex problems with scalable, real-world solutions.
• Write clear product specs and prototype ideas using AI tools.
• Collaborate across teams to turn insights into action.
• Use data to uncover patterns and guide product decisions.

• 5-8 years of experience as a product manager, ideally at a labor marketplace and/or having worked on recommendation systems.
• Experience owning end-to-end product features with real business impact.
• Deep understanding of marketplaces, matching systems, and recommendation engines.
• Hands-on experience with conversational AI and shipping AI products.
• Background in labor tech, recruiting platforms, or AI recruiting tools.
• 2+ years in fast-paced startup environments.
• Strong technical Skills—can prototype or code. Comfortable with SQL queries.
• Strategic thinker with sharp product judgment and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Undergraduate degree from a top 25 university, preferably in Computer Science or a technical field.
