Senior MDM Architect

Job Title

Senior MDM Architect, NYC (three days a week)

Contract

Responsible for analyzing Master Data and identifying trends and patterns that can be used to improve business process and decision-making.

Provide expertise and guidance on MDM best practices and help the organization implement MDM solutions.

Develop, deploy, and optimize data pipelines in the cloud (Azure) using ADF, DBT, Five Tran, Snowflake, etc., to achieve exceptional performance, scalability, and reliability.

Lead and manage a team, providing strategic planning and oversight.

Communicate the benefits and constraints of technology solutions to technology partners, business partners, and team members.

Deep knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) principles, processes, architectures, protocols, patterns, and technologies.

Hands‑on operational experience working with data stewards and product owners.

Experience developing and maintaining applications using Semarchy MDM tools (or similar tools).

Extensive experience with market and reference data in the context of capital markets or investment management.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence critical decisions.

Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, data quality management, and data governance principles is a big plus.
