The Role Presidio is seeking a Program Manager to join our team. The Program and Project Management Services (PPM) Program Manager is responsible for delivering technology projects on time and on budget. The Associate Project Manager will focus on delivery excellence by demonstrating leadership, strong client and team trust, solid project management core skills, and the ability to handle all the administrative aspects of a project.

In addition to client-focused project delivery, Associate Project Managers have the opportunity to support the service group through involvement in process improvement activities.

Job Summary:

• Purpose: The Program Manager leads Presidio s highly skilled engineers to deliver a variety of technology projects for our customers.
• Scope: You will join our team as a member of the Program and Project Management (PPM) Services group. You will be responsible for successfully managing project outcomes, client interaction and expectations, budgets and billing, and all relevant project artifacts including detailed project plans. Program Managers will be assigned numerous projects simultaneously with simple to moderate size and scope and across multiple technologies.

• Lead multiple technology implementation projects of simple to moderate size, scope and duration using Presidio s project management method
• Establish client relations and manage interaction and expectations throughout the life of the project
• Create basic project plans, status reports and manage issues, risks, and actions
• Manage communication, scope and mitigates risk across projects
• Manage project budget and billing
• Partner with engineers to deliver the best possible solution for a client
• Lead client-facing meetings regularly during key phases of the project
• Continually seek and capitalize upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
• Serve as the escalation point person for the customer, delivery and other associated Presidio teams and vendor partners

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• Minimum of 2 years  experience as a hands-on Project Coordinator/Administrator managing technical VAR implementation projects and having customer facing experiences or equivalent experience in an IT organization
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and successfully drive projects to meet defined budgets and timelines
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience managing project financials and scheduling internal resources
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

• Proficient in MS Project
• CAPM certification
