Job Description
An employer is looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join their team out of NYC. He/she will design and maintain Azure-based infrastructure using Terraform and manage Linux systems for reliability and performance. The Dev Ops Engineer will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Azure Dev Ops tools to streamline deployments and automate operational tasks with scripting to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
He/she will implement proactive monitoring and alerting solutions for cloud and on-prem environments and collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system scalability, security, and disaster recovery readiness. This role will support hybrid infrastructure and drive continuous improvement in reliability engineering practices.
Compensation for this role is 65-90/hr per hour. Compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

- 3-5+ years of experience in Dev Ops or SRE Role working with Microsoft Azure Services (VMs, Networking, Storage)
- Linux admin skills
- Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Scripting experience with Python
- Monitoring expertise using tools such as Dynatrace or Datadog
- Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
