Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Implementation Engineer to lead the deployment and integration of our AI-driven healthcare solutions. This role is both technically deep and client-facing, responsible for connecting our software to healthcare IT systems (EMRs, PACS, RIS, APIs), managing go-lives, and ensuring seamless solution delivery. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients while collaborating closely with internal teams to optimize and scale our deployments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Full Deployment Lifecycle:
Manage end-to-end implementation including requirements gathering, system setup, configuration, integration, testing, and go-live. - Client‑Facing Technical Liaison:
Work directly with client teams to translate complex technical concepts, ensure smooth collaboration, and address integration challenges. - System Integration:
Design, implement, and troubleshoot integrations with client systems (EMRs, PACS, RIS, APIs) to ensure interoperability and high performance. - Experience with DICOM is required.
- Experience with Epic, Cerner, and Meditech is required.
- Familiarity with Nuance Power Scribe and Microsoft PIN/Power Share is a plus.
- Deployment Optimization & Scaling:
Analyze deployment performance, propose improvements, implement customizations, and plan multi‑site or large‑scale deployments. - Monitoring & Maintenance:
Oversee post‑deployment monitoring, troubleshoot integration issues, and implement ongoing improvements for high system availability. - Clinical Workflow Understanding:
Ensure seamless integration into radiology and clinical workflows to enhance user experience and decision‑making efficiency. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams to define requirements, integration standards, and ensure alignment across project phases. - Compliance & Standards:
Ensure deployments comply with US healthcare regulations and data protection standards (HIPAA), maintaining complete documentation. - On‑Site & Remote Support:
Travel to client sites as needed to facilitate deployment, integration, and collaboration.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong background in healthcare IT, including EMRs, PACS, RIS, and API‑based integrations.
- Proven experience managing end-to‑end deployments from requirements gathering to go‑live.
- Deep understanding of radiology and clinical workflows to ensure smooth AI solution integration.
- Hands‑on expertise with HL7, FHIR, DICOM, Mirth Connect, and API development/management.
- Experience with Epic, Cerner, and Meditech; familiarity with Nuance Power Scribe and Microsoft PIN is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to anticipate and address challenges proactively.
- Knowledge of US healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and clinical workflow standards.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
