Position: Payments Senior Analyst
Location: New York

Job Overview

Fan Duel is seeking a Payments Partnerships Sr. Analyst to partner with the existing teams and drive our Payments Partnerships across all our Products & Markets. This role involves collaborating with teams from Product to Legal to Compliance to improve upon existing partnerships, with the goal of delivering a customer‑first experience that helps users move funds in and out more easily, faster, and safer.

In addition to the core responsibilities, employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Company to support evolving business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a set of vendor relationships and drive day‑to‑day initiatives to resolution.
  • Serve as the main point of contact on the Fan Duel side, assisting with inbound and outbound requests with each vendor.
  • Improve processes, automate tasks, and develop new solutions while balancing operational impacts.
  • Partner with Payments and Fraud Strategy, Operations, and Biz Ops teams to see projects through completion.
  • Own quarterly and annual business reviews with key payments partners.
  • Assist with deal creation and renegotiations.
  • Act as the main connection between internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic projects.
  • Ensure payments partners are ready to go for new state launches.
  • Partner with compliance, legal, finance, and procurement teams to satisfy all diligence requests from external partners.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field (preferred).
  • 0‑3 years of experience in business development and/or account management.
  • 1+ year of experience in Payments or Gambling (preferred).
  • Interest in fintech and new payments technologies such as P2P, crypto, etc.
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment of complexity, ambiguity, changing priorities, and flexibility based on demand.
  • Extremely detail‑oriented with superb organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate across multiple areas of the business and levels of management.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a lot of ambiguity.
  • Knowledge of sports betting and online gambling is a huge plus.

Salary Range

The applicable salary range for this position is $66,000 – $82,000 USD, dependent on relevant experience, location, business needs, and market demand. This role may offer additional benefits such as medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; short‑ or long‑term incentive compensation; paid personal time off; 14 paid company holidays; and paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws.
