** Hourly Rate:** **$75 – $80/hour**###

Job Description The Reporting Specialist is responsible for the analysis, design, redevelopment, and deployment of operational, regulatory, and management reports within the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.x environment. This role ensures that all reporting requirements for Staten Island Ferry (SIF) operations are met, including compliance, audit readiness, performance monitoring, and executive visibility. The Reporting Specialist will lead the conversion and modernization of legacy Maximo 7.6.x reports into MAS 9.x–compliant

reporting frameworks while ensuring data accuracy, usability, and performance.###

Key Responsibilities
* Analyze existing legacy reports, including BIRT and custom SQL-based reports, and assess conversion or redesign requirements for MAS 9.x.
* Convert, rebuild, and optimize reports using MAS 9.x reporting tools (BIRT, Cognos, or equivalent), ensuring compatibility with DB2 and cloud-hosted environments.
* Design and implement operational, financial, maintenance, inventory, health & safety, and compliance reports aligned with SIF business processes.
* Develop dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics to support management decision-making and regulatory reporting.
* Create audit-ready extracts and reporting outputs to support FOIL requests, internal audits, and regulatory oversight.
* Validate report accuracy and performance through unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
* Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure reporting reflects configured workflows and business rules.
* Develop reporting documentation, user guides, and training materials related to reports and dashboards.
* Provide post–go-live support for reporting issues, enhancements, and user inquiries.### Qualifications
* ** 3–5+ years
** of experience in enterprise reporting and analytics.
* Hands-on experience with
** Maximo BIRT**, Cognos, or similar reporting platforms.
* Strong proficiency in
** SQL**,
** DB2**, and data analysis.###

Preferred Experience
* Experience supporting asset management, maintenance, or transportation reporting in Maximo.
* Prior experience converting large volumes of legacy reports to MAS 8/9 environments
