Responsibilities

24x365 operational support of our product development and systems integration teams, our lottery operations and customers, monitor Brightstar's enterprise infrastructure, and escalates issues as required.

  • Monitor the daily operation of Brightstar computer systems and network.
  • Carry out all tasks on the daily checklist.
  • Assist in verifying the validity and clarity of computer reports and other output before releasing it from Computer Operations.
  • Assist with recovery activities to restore normal operations.
  • Follow the correct escalation procedures within Incident Management.
  • Ability to navigate in Linux and perform basic commands
  • Experience with Office 365, including Teams
  • Take Helpdesk calls from retailers to troubleshoot issues and document accordingly
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, holidays, weekends, and night shifts.
  • Ability to follow checklists and procedures.
  • Exhibits professional and customer-appropriate communications (written and verbal).

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $14.00 – $25.22. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
