• Act as a subject matter expert, resolving complex issues and occasionally partnering cross‑functional.
• Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of others.
• Provide comprehensive consultation on user research, usability testing, surveys, interviews, work studies, and heuristic evaluations.
• Review documentation of research findings presented to product and development teams.
• Define and review user personas.
• Participate and guide the creation of concepts, information architecture, UI designs, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and specifications to meet project schedules.
• Lead the implementation of visual styles that support platform branding and enhance user effectiveness.
• Consult on and interpret user feedback to improve the user experience.
• Review usability activities and artifacts to ensure software applications meet customer expectations.
• Provide UX expertise in product definition and evaluation using multiple information sources.
• Act as principal consultant and lead creation/updating of UI and visual design guidelines and standards.
• Advocate for user‑centered design and standardized design systems across the firm, training groups outside the UX team.
• Ensure developed/revised products achieve user‑specified goals through user‑centered analysis, design, best practices, and standards.
• Lead complex projects that dictate team success with internal and cross‑functional outcomes, requiring deep analysis and evaluation.
• Build strong relationships within the team and across the company, creating formal networks with key decision‑makers.

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, user experience, design, human–computer interaction, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience.
• Experience in securities or financial services industry is a plus.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $127,000 and $300,000 per year, depending on experience and market location. Additional compensation may include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long‑term incentive packages, and company‑sponsored benefit programs.
