Federal Compliance Tester – IBM Consulting Finance

IBM Consulting Finance seeks a detail-oriented business controls professional experienced in testing policies and procedures within a U.S. Federal Government contracting environment. Expertise in FAR and CAS regulations is essential.

• Understand policies and procedures, develop test plans, and perform testing of processes related to the accounting system, estimating system, and procurement system.
• Apply knowledge of FAR and CAS to identify risks/issues and recommend remediation.
• Maintain detailed records of testing performed, results, and actions taken.
• Work independently under the guidance of the Compliance Manager to proactively obtain necessary data from internal and external sources.
• Communicate findings clearly with stakeholders through verbal and written channels, and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Utilize or quickly learn Deltek Costpoint and other relevant systems.

Master's Degree

• U.S. Citizenship and U.S. location required.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Experience or coursework in Business Controls and/or Audit.
• General knowledge of CAS, FAR, and business system requirements.
• Work experience with government contracting and CAS/FAR testing programs.

• Experience in financial management of government contracts, compliance and audit.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Cognos.
• Knowledge of AI and process automation.
