Senior Associate, Data Science – Beauty Co‑Lab (a specialized unit of Omnicom Media Group serving L’Oréal USA).

Beauty Co‑Lab (BCL) is an industry‑leading agency that combines cutting‑edge data science with media, commerce, and technology expertise to provide audience‑first, omni‑channel strategies for L’Oréal’s global beauty mission.

• Collaborate with client strategists and media buyers to produce data‑driven insights that shape marketing plans.
• Explore and experiment with datasets to uncover client‑specific and general solutions.
• Uncover audience insights for clients:
  • Guide non‑technical stakeholders in selecting appropriate analyses for open‑ended questions.
  • Independently formulate and execute analytics plans, iterating with client feedback.
  • Translate quantitative results into actionable insights and compelling storytelling.
• Build and deploy machine learning and statistical models for audience segmentation and extension.
• Collaboratively create tools that process, visualize, and analyze data for cross‑functional teams.
• Evaluate new data sources and tools; quickly learn and navigate new platforms, and extract, transform, and load data from partner cloud storage solutions.
• Document and share knowledge across L’Oréal and BCL teams.

• 1‑2 years of relevant data science experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences, or related business/marketing fields. Advanced quantitative degree or intensive bootcamp experience preferred.
• Hands‑on expertise in SQL and Python.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS.

Compensation range: $40,000 – $85,000 USD. Benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance; 401(k) with company match; flexible spending accounts (healthcare and dependent care); vacation, sick, personal days; paid parental and medical leave; STD/LTD coverage.

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office, with up to two (2) days remote. In‑office days can be negotiated during the interview process and may change over time as business needs evolve.
