We are seeking a Managing Director – Head of GenAI Product Strategy to lead the strategy, development and execution of AI-powered products and capabilities that drive business growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of AI at One Main, working cross-functionally with engineering, data science, credit, compliance, and business stakeholders.

• Define and own the GenAI Strategy and product roadmap aligned with One Main’s strategic objectives.
• Accountable for the AI function including governance, product, training agenda and the organization journey towards becoming a GenAI fluent organization.
• Lead the development of AI solutions across areas such as credit decisioning, fraud detection, customer personalization, and operational automation.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to translate business needs into scalable AI models and tools.
• Ensure AI products meet regulatory, ethical, and fairness standards.
• Use data and experimentation to validate hypotheses and optimize product performance.
• Communicate product vision, progress, and impact to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Foster alignment across cross-functional teams through clear documentation, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.

• 12 + years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML products.
• Proven track record of delivering AI-driven solutions in a regulated industry (financial services preferred).
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, model lifecycle, and data infrastructure.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization.
• Experience with agile methodologies and product development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.

• Familiarity with responsible AI principles and model governance.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Gen Ai vendors.
• Knowledge of financial services, lending, or credit risk analytics.

This role is Hybrid. You should be located within a commutable distance to our office located in New York City, NY, with expectations to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
