Title: Data Analytics Consultant - IS&T (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Manhattan, NY (5th Avenue) Hybrid (2-3 days on-site)
Engagement: 6-month contract (1099/freelance), with potential for salaried full-time conversion (W2)

About the Role
This is a high-impact opportunity to join a global data and analytics team supporting major reporting and business intelligence initiatives for a top-tier international luxury brand. This role sits at the crossroads of business analysis, project coordination, and hands‑on data operations ideal for candidates who enjoy translating business needs into actionable data solutions without being full‑time developers.

• Coordinate data requests and project timelines between business teams and global IS&T (including France and central support)
• Write user stories, track Jira tickets, and manage delivery across multiple stakeholders
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for a widely used commercial reporting tool (NEMO)
• Monitor and resolve data quality issues within the GCP Big Query platform
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and progress reporting
• Participate in global meetings, project reviews, and process improvement discussions

• 3-5 years in a hybrid role spanning BA / PM / Data Analyst responsibilities
• Strong experience writing user stories and managing technical delivery using Jira
• Proficient with SQL (Big Query or SQL Server) for querying and troubleshooting data
• Familiar with cloud data platforms (GCP preferred) and data architecture fundamentals
• Power BI knowledge is helpful (not required to build dashboards)
• Previous experience in retail or consumer goods industries is a plus
