Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Salary is $100k to $135k.
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Quality and Governance Analyst to play a key role in strengthening data integrity and consistency across the organization. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data governance frameworks, quality controls, and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance with business and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data quality and governance processes, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple systems.
- Partner with business and IT teams to establish data policies, definitions, and ownership responsibilities.
- Design and monitor data controls and validation rules to support operational and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis of data discrepancies and lead remediation efforts to improve system reliability and reporting accuracy.
- Support the creation of data lineage documentation, metadata management, and process standards to promote transparency and traceability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop dashboards and reports that visualize key data quality metrics using tools such as Power BI.
- Work with analytics platforms and tools (SQL, Python, SAS, Excel) to analyze data sets, identify trends, and present actionable insights.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending enhancements to data processes, governance tools, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of data quality management, governance, and risk control frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and analytics tools such as SAS or Python for data validation and analysis.
- Experience with data design, auditing, and visualization using Power BI or similar tools.
- Ability to translate complex data issues into clear, actionable recommendations for business and technology stakeholders.
