Our client, a multibillion AUM hedge fund headquartered in the United States is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join its team in New York.

As a Site Reliability Engineer you’ll combine software and systems expertise to ensure business-critical applications run flawlessly in production. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where performance, automation, and continuous improvement are key.

• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of high-scale applications
• Automate repetitive workflows and reduce operational complexity
• Investigate, resolve, and prevent system-level incidents
• Collaborate with developers to embed resilience early in the lifecycle
• Drive root-cause analyses and design innovative technical solutions
• Promote an SRE mindset across teams and act as a technical consultant
• Learn from world‑class engineers and industry leaders

We’re looking for an engineer with a passion for automation, system design, and problem-solving, along with the following:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems
• Proficiency in at least one structured programming language (Python preferred)
• Hands‑on experience with modern tool chains (testing, source control, CI/CD)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
