Solvd is seeking a Solution Architect to join our team. This role will be essential in the winning of opportunities for the company, primarily focusing on supporting presales process and opportunities discovery with existing clients.
About the projectOur client, a global e-commerce leader with a large-scale, service-oriented technology estate and complex cloud infrastructure, is seeking to elevate their customer support technology stack by introducing Agentic AI to streamline case workflow resolutions and by implementing an integrated platform to replace the fragmented set of solutions currently used by support agents.
Ultimately, our client aims to deliver a more personalized and satisfying support experience to end users - improving CSAT, reducing resolution time, and enhancing service quality across all channels.
We are developing a data retrieval and operations platform that is going to power the agentic layer. The platform will provide a federated Graph
QL interface that unifies access to multiple backend services, enabling low-latency, real-time data retrieval and transactional operations to support AI-driven workflows.
The role will focus on designing, building and optimizing this platform to ensure scalability, reliability and test automation. This is a multi-team, collaborative initiative that requires close coordination with other delivery teams, adherence to high engineering standards and a strong focus on integration and architectural alignment.
What you'll doModern software architecture. You bring deep hands-on experience with modern architecture styles, including microservices, serverless, event-driven, and cloud-native designs. You apply design patterns, domain-driven design principles, and scalable system architecture to build reliable, maintainable, and high-performing systems.
Technology advocacy. You’re passionate about technology and enjoy sharing knowledge through presentations, workshops, or writing. You help others understand the value and potential of modern technologies by translating complex concepts into clear, practical insights.
Collaboration with engineering teams. You work closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to bring architectural visions to life. You help translate business and technical requirements into scalable, efficient, and maintainable systems, ensuring smooth collaboration across disciplines.
Leadership and communication. You’re comfortable leading discussions, guiding teams, and setting architectural direction with confidence and clarity. You demonstrate thought leadership and foster open, constructive conversations even when navigating new or uncertain topics.
Presales and opportunity support. You collaborate with sales and delivery teams to shape new opportunities, understand client needs, and design tailored technical solutions. You contribute to proposals, presentations, and early-stage solution design with strong architectural insight.
3+ years of relevant experience in Solution Architecture.
9+ years of hands-on development experience across various solution types (web applications, web services, desktop applications, native mobile applications).
Java ecosystem as a primary technology stack; experience designing large-scale solutions using Java technology stack.
Creating solution architecture documents with deep technical details.
