About the Role
HFS Financial is a leader in the home improvement loan marketplace in the U.S. and we are seeking a fully remote Quality Assurance Analyst in Eastern Europe to assist in process improvement projects, gather and translate project requirements, conduct post‑implementation testing, review and analyze system specifications, and support the configuration and integration of multiple systems.
Salary$25k – $34k USD
Language Requirements- English – Upper Intermediate or Advanced
- Russian – Advanced or Native speaker
- Learn and maintain all products and workflows within our Loan Origination System (LOS), and participate in configuration per project requirements or user requests. You will become an expert in LOS with on‑the‑job training.
- Collaborate with the QA Engineer to develop effective test strategies and test plans.
- Execute test cases (manual or automated), analyze results, and prepare checklists.
- Participate in enhancing development and deployment processes by implementing automated testing.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams and help developers reproduce bugs.
- Conduct post‑release / post‑implementation testing; monitor and debug issues in staging and production environments.
- Analyze current business processes, identify system issues, and recommend improvements within systems and workflows.
- Participate in the development team’s regular meetings (daily stand‑up, sprint planning) and other project‑based meetings.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manual Tester or in a similar role.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Ability to read and understand software requirements specifications and create test plans/checklists.
- Ability to document bugs and troubleshoot.
- Knowledge of different system integration methods.
- Experience with testing REST APIs.
- Understanding of client‑server application architecture and different data types.
- Knowledge of best UX practices in web interfaces.
- Experience with requirements and task management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience with working in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban).
- Languages:
English (B2+), Russian (C1+)
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with automated testing (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, etc.).
- Experience with bug‑tracking tools, version control systems (Git), and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong time‑management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Previous experience with a Loan Origination System or Customer Relationship Management system.
- Previous experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic knowledge of interface design tools (Figma).
