Overview

Senior Platform/Site Reliability Engineer – Biograph. Biograph is looking for senior engineers to own and scale our cloud infrastructure, empowering our engineering teams to build innovative solutions that reach millions of patients.

Our small and nimble engineering team thrives on ownership and autonomy. We’re building foundational systems with an eye toward scalability and an emphasis on best practices. This is a hybrid role based in New York City. Team members typically work in our Manhattan office 3-5 days a week, with empathetic flexibility.

• Member Applications:
  Build engaging, user-friendly applications that empower people to manage their health with confidence. NextJS and React Native.
• Clinical Applications:
  Build tools that elevate the effectiveness of our world-class clinical team. NextJS and Django/FastAPI.
• Core Services:
  Connect and utilize health data to improve patient outcomes. Modern data pipelines paired with Django/FastAPI Python services.
• Platforms:
  Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Emphasis on Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Big Query, and Vertex AI.

• Architect Cloud Infrastructure:
  Build and manage secure, scalable systems on GCP using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Power Health Innovation:
  Design data pipelines and ML workflows to drive data-driven insights that improve patient care.
• Streamline Delivery:
  Optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate developer velocity and ensure seamless, automated deployments.
• Enhance System Reliability:
  Implement monitoring, logging, and self-healing systems to maintain platform performance.
• Safeguard Health Data:
  Embed security best practices and uphold compliance to protect sensitive health information.
• Collaborate for Impact:
  Partner with engineering, product, and security teams to solve complex and meaningful challenges.

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• Professional experience with the technologies and expectations listed above.
• Able to work in our NYC office (FiDi) ~3 days a week.
• Excited about applying technology to improve healthcare.

• $150,000 - $200,000 per year
