👥 Director of Human Resources - Healthcare

A large, well-established healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead and evolve its HR function during an exciting period of growth and operational focus.

This is a highly visible leadership role for an experienced HR professional who thrives in complex environments, understands healthcare workforce dynamics, and enjoys building strong, compliant, people-first systems.

🎯 What You’ll Lead
  • Overall HR strategy, operations, and policy development
  • Full lifecycle talent management: recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and separations
  • Workforce planning and partnership with senior leadership
  • Compensation, benefits administration, and retirement programs
  • Regulatory compliance (FMLA, ADA, OSHA, COBRA, personnel records)
  • Labor relations, grievances, and arbitration preparation (as applicable)
  • Staff training, development, and mandatory in-services
  • Employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives
  • Lead and manage the HR department and daily operations
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, job descriptions, and employee handbook
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and department heads
  • Oversee incident tracking and OSHA reporting
  • Represent HR in committees and cross-functional initiatives
  • Perform Administrator-on-Duty (AOD) responsibilities as needed
✅ What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
  • Master’s degree preferred (HR, Administration, or related field)
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare HR practices and employment law
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
