Location:
New York, NY
A leading, top-tier Labor & Employment platform is seeking a mid-to-senior level associate to join its Traditional Labor practice in New York. This role is ideal for an attorney with a strong grounding in union-side or management-side traditional labor matters who is interested in playing a meaningful role in the continued growth of a sophisticated practice.
The position offers significant responsibility, exposure to complex labor matters, and the opportunity to help shape and expand the group alongside senior leadership.
Responsibilities- Advise employers on traditional labor matters, including union relations and collective bargaining.
- Represent clients in labor disputes, grievances, and related proceedings.
- Support strategy and execution across complex labor matters.
- Work closely with partners on practice development and client expansion initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across employment and litigation teams as needed.
- Mid-to-senior level associate (Class Years 2018–2021).
- Substantial experience in traditional labor law.
- Strong academic credentials with excellent writing and analytical skills.
- Commercially minded and interested in helping grow a labor practice.
- Admitted to practice in New York (required).
- Salary Range: $310,000 – $420,000 DOE
