We’re looking for a versatile team member to take on a hybrid role spanning People Operations, Recruiting, and Office Management. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives as a generalist, enjoys variety in their work, and wants to make a direct impact on both the employee and candidate experience.

Our office is located in FiDi, and we would expect you to be in the office 3-4 days per week, with the remaining days being remote. Occasional flexibility may be required on the exact days and hours, depending on social events or in-office needs.

  • Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems, assist with compliance reporting, and help streamline core HR processes.
  • Provide day-to-day support for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, or procedures, escalating to senior HR as needed.
  • Contribute to People Ops projects to help drive talent density, improve the employee experience, promote our values of Empathy, Curiosity, Humility, and Ownership, and support operational excellence.

Recruiting:

  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements and align on recruiting strategies.
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle: posting, sourcing, resume review, phone screens, interview coordination, debriefs, and extending offers.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines across multiple functions by proactively sourcing and engaging passive talent.
  • Ensure every candidate has a positive and professional experience, representing Ocrolus’ values and culture throughout the process.

Office Management:

  • Serve as the point of contact for all day-to-day office needs, ensuring our NYC space is welcoming, well-stocked, and running smoothly.
  • Coordinate office logistics such as deliveries, meeting space set‑ups, and occasional travel or visitor support.
  • Act as a culture carrier, a friendly face who welcomes people and supports social events and other engagement activities.
What you’ll bring to the table:
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in People Operations and Recruiting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; comfortable engaging with employees, candidates, and vendors alike.
  • A proactive, can‑do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves to handle both strategic and tactical tasks.
  • A high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in handling sensitive employee and candidate information.
