Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C. (PAGNY) is a multispecialty medical practice group that staffs several municipal hospitals and clinics within New York City through an affiliation agreement with NYC Health + Hospitals. PAGNY’s corporate staff provides administrative, practice management, and human resources services in support of its more than 3,000 clinical providers.

In compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, the Affiliate Operations Specialist, under the direction of HR and site leadership, is responsible for providing general support to the PAGNY office and providers. The Specialist serves as the initial point of contact for employee concerns and as an outward-facing element of the HR Department.
Responsibilities include:
- Onboarding new hires through effective communication with recruiting specialists and hiring managers; logging and tracking HR forms; updating employee records in HRIS and other systems.
- Managing compliance with mandatory and non‑mandatory trainings, continuing education, annual health assessments, and work evaluations; ensuring records meet JCAHO and NYDOH standards.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for credentialing and onboarding; tracking new provider progress; ensuring post‑hire data and documents are fully captured in HRIS, employee files, and credentialing trackers.
- Maintaining relationships with providers and staff by periodic check‑ins to promote engagement.
- Leading and facilitating recurring new hire orientation and other activities; providing hands‑on guidance for timesheet processing, benefits, continuing medical education (CME), payroll, and holiday calendars.
- Managing all HRIS transactions promptly and making change requests; following up to ensure accuracy and communicating with corporate and H+H approvers for escalated issues.
- Building and maintaining relationships with site leadership, MSO, OHS, H+H Human Resources Partners, chiefs/chairs, and other stakeholders; attending site committee meetings as needed.
- Handling routine labor relations and HR inquiries related to policies, procedures, and bargaining agreements; referring complex matters to the Labor and Employee Relations team.
Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr – $75,000.00/yr.
