We are seeking an experienced professional to join Nextera Search as a Recruiter within our Accounting/Finance and Financial Services divisions. This role will sit within our Midtown Manhattan office and will follow a 4-day work in office schedule.
Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle recruitment for open roles
- Source candidates via candidate database, networking, referrals, job boards and social media
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring needs
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified professionals
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess fit and qualifications
- Ensure a professional and positive candidate and client experience
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
- Track and report on recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire)
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor hiring activity
- Utilize ATS and recruiting tools to manage and streamline the hiring process
- Support employer branding and talent attraction efforts
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred)
- 1 to 5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in financial services or a related industry
- Proven track record of successful full-cycle recruiting is preferred, but open to speaking to candidates with relevant industry experience
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial services roles (e.g., Office of the CFO, Internal Audit & Risk, Compliance, Operations, Investor Relations etc.)
- Familiarity with relevant employment laws and recruitment compliance
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (Linked In Recruiter, job boards, CRM) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize effectively
