Our client, a distinguished institution in higher education, is seeking a P/T Human Resources Coordinator-Workday to join their dedicated team. As a P/T Human Resources Coordinator-Workday, you will be an integral part of the Human Resources department supporting faculty, staff, and administrative teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: P/T Human Resources Coordinator-Workday (Higher Education)
Pay Range: $25-35
Duration-6 months + ext (Start Date 1/20/26)
Location-NY, NY 10003
Onsite 3 days per week;
Tues-Wed-Thurs. 9am-5pm; 21 hours per week, 7 hours/day, 1 hour lunch break/day
- Perform a wide range of administrative duties of a confidential nature to support the needs of the Director and Assistant Director of Human Resources
- Assist with appointment and payment processes for administrators, staff, faculty, and students to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with the appointment and payment process for administrators, staff, faculty and students to ensure accurate and timely compensation;
Review information for accuracy and completeness - Assist with faculty, administrator and staff recruitment tasks
- Create and maintain databases, complex spreadsheets, and other tracking tools to support HR operations
- Organize and maintain digital office files and records
- Draft, customize, and prepare appointment letters
- Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as an HR generalist in a professional setting.
- Knowledge of HR concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Applications.
