Talent Manager, HR Manager
Sports field Specialties, Inc. is seeking a forward-thinking experienced Human Resources Manager for its Delhi, NY location to assist and oversee various aspects of employee management such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and training and development.
Responsibilities / Duties:

- Supervise HR Recruiter and Employee Benefits Coordinator personnel.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Federal, multi-state and local employment/compliance laws and requirements.
- Collaborate with HR Director to develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations’ human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Update human resources policies and procedures as needed.
- Act as point of contact for employee concerns, providing prompt, fair, and confidential resolutions.
- Design and implement innovative programs to boost employee morale, engagement, and retention.
- Assist managers with administrative processes and related documentation for performance reviews, corrective actions, and separation processes.
- Collaborate with HR Recruiter to reduce time-to hire metrics by streamlining recruitment processes.
- Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract diverse talent.
- Execute all aspects of worker’s compensation; injury reporting, light-duty modifications, and RTW procedures.
- Ensure compliance and reporting in all HR-related regulatory areas of responsibility (EEO, OSHA, FMLA, etc.).
- Implement, assign, and conduct employee training and development programs.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Notify manager of any updates/changes/issues that may need addressing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Skills:
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment by multitasking, balancing priorities, meeting deadlines, anticipating issues/problems, and performing with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal/written communication/interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
- Ability to collaborate professionally at all levels of organization.
- Resourceful problem-solving aptitude and understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
- Familiarity with online meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and HRIS platforms.
- Active listening with discretion, confidentiality, and empathy always.
- Must have thick skin and be able to communicate and process constructive criticism.
- Self-motivated with the ability to proactively make decisions.
- Flexibility and adaptability to various conditions with a willingness and ability to work extended hours as needed.
Experience/
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
- Minimum 5 years related work experience with proven progressive HR Generalist/Manager responsibility.
- Will consider PHR/SHRM certification and work experience in lieu of degree.
- Experienced day-to-day working within HRIS/Payroll and Applicant Tracking Systems.
Salary Range: $75 – 85k/yr. plus incentive bonus. Starting salary represents the minimum salary for the position. The actual salary will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications and internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.
