Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a HR Generalist based in Schroon Lake, NY. The HR Generalist will oversee day-to-day human resources activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and policy implementation. Additional responsibilities include managing employee benefits, ensuring compliance with employment laws, maintaining personnel records, and supporting training initiatives. The role requires collaboration with both management and employees to ensure a positive workplace environment.
Qualifications- Expertise in recruitment, onboarding, and managing performance reviews
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in administering compensation, benefits, and payroll systems
- Ability to handle HR documentation, employee record-keeping, and policy implementation
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in creating and supporting employee training and development programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in human resource management roles is highly desirable
