Responsibilities
- Identify training and talent development needs by evaluating individual and organizational strengths, skill gaps, and future capability requirements
- Translate business, performance, and succession requirements into learning and development interventions that prepare employees for the next level in their career path
- Design and manage individual development plans (IDPs) aligned with performance reviews and career progression frameworks
- Build and oversee the annual learning and talent development roadmap, including technical, behavioral, leadership, and career‑readiness programs
- Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, learning aids, facilitator guides, and digital content
- Direct structured learning experiences such as workshops, coaching programs, mentoring initiatives, and stretch assignments, and monitor their effectiveness
- Partner with managers and HR leadership to support succession planning, leadership pipelines, and high‑potential (HiPo) employee development
- Acclimate new hires by designing and delivering comprehensive onboarding and orientation programs that reinforce culture, values, and performance expectations
- Deliver instructor‑led, virtual, and blended learning programs across diverse employee populations
- Assess training and development effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative methods to ensure skill application, behavioral change, and performance impact
- Track career progression, promotion readiness, and skill growth metrics to evaluate impact of talent development initiatives
- Periodically evaluate and update learning and development programs to align with evolving business strategies and workforce priorities
- Stay abreast of new trends, tools, and best practices in learning, leadership development, career management, and talent development
- Serve as a learning and career development advisor to employees and people managers
- Proven experience designing and delivering learning and talent development programs in a corporate or professional services environment
- Strong expertise in instructional design theory, adult learning principles, and career development methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full training and development lifecycle, including needs analysis, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement
- Hands‑on experience supporting career development frameworks, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives
- Adequate knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and talent management platforms
- Familiarity with traditional and modern learning solutions, including coaching, mentoring, e‑learning, blended learning, and experiential development
- Ability to conduct cost‑benefit analysis and calculate training and development ROI
- Strong consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision‑making abilities
- Ability to communicate and present complex information clearly to diverse audiences and leadership levels
- Proficiency in MS Office and database tools; experience with HR or talent analytics tools preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus)
