Role:
Human Resources Generalist (Part Time)

Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr

Hours: 20-24 hours per week

Location:
Union Square, NYC - (3 days a week onsite)

Job Description:

• Recruitment Support: Post job openings on various boards, coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers, and conduct initial phone screenings for entry-level positions.
• Onboarding Logistics: Prepare offer letters, launch background checks, and ensure new hires have their equipment and login credentials ready for Day 1.
• HRIS & Records Management: Act as the primary owner of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS); enter new hire data, process status changes (promotions, address updates), and ensure digital files are organized and compliant.
• Employee Inquiries: Serve as the first point of contact for general HR questions regarding company policies, holiday schedules, and payroll timelines.
• Compliance & Reporting: Assist in pulling reports for EEO-1 filings, workers  compensation audits, and internal record-keeping.
• Culture & Engagement: Help organize employee recognition programs, holiday parties, and wellness initiatives.
