$35/hr – $45/hr
Position OverviewThe Senior Human Resources Business Partner will focus on Learning & Development while serving as a strategic HR partner to leadership. This role will support preventative HR initiatives through training design and implementation, and will support full‑cycle HR operations. It is a temporary assignment (3+ months) with potential to convert and is based in Manhattan with a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities of the Senior Human Resources Business Partner- Design, develop, and implement Learning & Development programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead training initiatives focused on performance management, engagement, and compliance.
- Support full‑cycle HR operations including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Partner with leadership to identify development needs and recommend targeted training solutions.
- Build and maintain HR processes, documentation, and training resources within ADP.
- Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and workforce development.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to managers and senior leadership on HR and talent matters.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience.
- Hands‑on experience supporting Learning & Development initiatives or projects.
- Strong HR operational background across the employee lifecycle.
- Experience working with ADP, including training setup or system documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative nonprofit environment.
- Nonprofit sector experience.
- Experience supporting an employee population of 100+.
- Background in building or expanding Learning & Development programs.
- Multi‑state HR experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP) preferred.
