Role & ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Recruiter will be responsible for:
- Building and managing senior client relationships within Financial Services, Risk, Governance, and Insurance sectors
- Originating and delivering permanent and contract placements, consistently achieving revenue targets
- Demonstrating commercial maturity and revenue generation ability
- Mentoring and supporting junior consultants, contributing to a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Identifying new business opportunities and market niches aligned with the firm’s growth strategy
- Operating autonomously within a boutique, trust-based environment while maintaining high accountability
The ideal candidate will:
- Have demonstrable revenue generation experience within Financial Services, Risk, Governance, or Insurance recruitment
- Be commercially minded and confident discussing numbers, margins, and performance metrics
- Preferably have 2–3+ years of experience in a specialist recruitment desk, with a focus on either permanent or contract recruitment
- Exhibit strong market credibility, relationship-building skills, and a professional yet approachable demeanor
- Value long-term career growth, stability, and a non-micromanaged, accountable culture
- Be based in or willing to relocate to New York (hybrid model with occasional office presence)
- Base salary: $70k–$85k (dependent on experience)
- Commission structure linked to desk performance and revenue targets
