Position: HR Associate (Workday)
Location: New York

Representing a global services provider, we are proud to be leading the search for an HR Systems Associate. This newly created role will support and enhance Workday functionality across a complex, multi-country workforce. This Role is open in Both Manhattan and Montreal.

This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to influence process design, improve system performance, and drive global HR technology initiatives.

As the HR Systems Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the full lifecycle of Workday projects, from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, implementation, and post-launch maintenance
  • Troubleshooting Workday configuration issues and resolving root causes in a timely manner
  • Ensuring Workday benefits and absence configurations comply with regulatory requirements
  • Developing and maintaining advanced Workday reports, including matrix and composite formats
  • Monitoring system performance and recommending optimizations
  • Overseeing integrations between Workday, Greenhouse, internal systems, and third-party platforms
  • Creating process maps, user procedures, and training documentation
  • Reviewing and communicating the impact of Workday semi-annual releases to stakeholders
  • Staying current with Workday Community updates and identifying new features that benefit the business
  • Communicating global impact of system changes and participating in impact assessments

To be successful in this role our client is looking for a:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, computer science, or information technology
  • 1-3 years of hands-on Workday HCM experience
  • Proven track record of leading at least two Workday Benefits implementations
  • Strong experience in Core HCM and Absence modules
  • Background in large-scale, preferably global, HR system management
  • Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
  • Experience partnering with global HR teams
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High ethical standards for handling confidential information
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in team environments
